Authentic German Pretzels
Hello foodies! Today, I want to share with you one of my favorite recipes - Authentic German Pretzels. A staple in Germany, these pretzels are known for their signature twisted knot shape and chewy texture. They make for a perfect snack or side dish to accompany your favorite dips or cheeses.
Legend has it that German pretzels were created by a monk in the early 7th century to reward children for learning their prayers. The shape of the pretzel was meant to represent arms crossed in prayer, making it a symbol of good luck and prosperity. Today, they are enjoyed all over the world and are a beloved treat for many.
