Originating from Wales, Welsh Cawl is a slow-cooked soup made with lamb or beef, root vegetables like carrots, leeks, and potatoes, all simmered together with herbs until the flavors meld into a delicious broth.

Ingredients:

  • 500g lamb or beef, cut into chunks
  • 2 leeks, chopped
  • 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3 potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 liters beef or vegetable stock
  • A handful of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
