Cepelinai, a traditional Lithuanian dish, are large potato dumplings named after the famous airship constructed by Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin. These dumplings are made from grated and riced potatoes mixed with either meat, mushrooms, or cheese, and are shaped into an elongated form resembling the airship.

Originating from Lithuania, cepelinai are often served with sour cream, bacon bits, and a delicious mushroom or meat sauce. This dish is a staple in Lithuanian cuisine and is loved for its hearty and comforting flavors.

  2. Take a handful of the potato mixture, form a ball, and flatten it into an oval shape.
  3. Fill the flattened potato with minced pork and onion mixture, then shape it into a large dumpling.
