Zurek is a traditional Polish soup with a unique and tangy flavor that comes from the key ingredient - fermented rye flour. In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant. 2. Add the sliced Polish sausage and cook until browned. 3. Stir in the diced potatoes, bay leaves, marjoram, and broth. Simmer for about 15 minutes. 4. In a small bowl, mix the fermented rye flour with some water to create a slurry. Add this mixture to the soup, stirring constantly. 5. Continue to simmer the soup for another 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender. 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. 7.
