Belgian Stoofvlees

Ingredients:
- 1 kg beef chuck, cut into cubes

- 4 sprigs of thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

- Cover the pot and place it in a preheated oven at 160°C. Let it cook for about 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the beef is tender.
- Remove the pot from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Discard the bay leaves and thyme sprigs before serving the stew hot with fries or mashed potatoes.
